Things have been a little slow over here since the arrival of baby, but I’m happy to announce that I’m back at it. Here’s some recent finds from a trip to DI. I already have some ideas in mind for them, but would love to here any comments or ideas that you have. Stay tuned to see the refashion transformations.
1. Number one is the Jessica Mcclintock dress. I’m guessing its from the early ’90s or late ’80s. Kind of hate the color on me, and the lace needs to be toned down.
2. This dress hat the tag cut out so I have no idea where it’s from. The cashier looked at it and made a comment on how pretty it was. I think she was lying and just trying to be nice. I didn’t quite know how to respond to that because I definitely don’t think it’s a pretty dress as is. This happens to me a lot when checking out. I think the tellers look at me and try to figure out why I’m buying such hideous stuff so they feel uncomfortable and throw out insincere compliments. 3. This skirt is actually an item I was looking for. I got an idea from a pinterest picture I want to try out. We’ll see how it goes. It’s a little snug on my post-baby body, but things are going down fast so I took a risk and got it.Those are the three pieces for now. Feel free to share any ideas you have and stay tuned for more.
