Today’s hair makeover is brought to you by Jenna.  She owns HelloFab and just started her own fashion blog.  She is pretty much amazing, and super gorgeous! We started becoming good friends after she voluntarily brought my family dinner after Camden was born and had to be placed in the NICU.

In the pictures below she has about 5 months of hair growth.

To  touch up her roots, I simply followed this formula from an older post.
Products Used for Highlights:
For toning:

She asked me to keep her natural color throughout because she didn’t want to be a solid blonde.  To achieve this, I paid close attention as I weaved her hair and took out the strands that weren’t highlighted last time.  That way, only the sections of hair that were highlighted before had their roots touched up.  I did use toner on her after, which you can read about on that same post mentioned above.
Here’s a side-by-side before and after shot.
Tutorial for touching up highlights at home, includes links to the exact products she uses.
Overall, I consider this hair makeover a huge success!  Thanks Jenna for letting me steal these photos for the “after” shots.
Until next time,
Kara
